New Years Eve in Rio

Copacabana New Years Eve, Rio de Janeiro
As the Christmas adverts fill our TV screens here in the UK and elsewhere in the northern hemisphere it’s getting into summer in Rio de Janeiro and people are starting to think about New Years Eve in Rio which is a fabulous time to visit the Marvellous city.

If you are looking to join the two million visitors on the beach to watch the incredible fireworks display then book sooner rather than later as luxury accommodation is filling up fast.

New Years Eve in Rio is second only to carnival as the largest event the city will annually host and Copacabana Beach (pictured) is the centre of the action. If you venture to the beach it is customary to wear white which is said to bring you luck for the New Year. Alternatively if you want to get a more panoramic view then enjoy one of the parties at the top hotels in Copacabana which come with a top price too.

Bespoke Brazil are offering a 5 night New Years package to Rio de Janeiro with a stay at the 5 star Sofitel on Copacabana beach in an ocean front room. The trip includes 5 nights with breakfast, private airport transfers, 2 private city tours and a celebratory dinner at the Atlantis restaurant at the Sofitel with seats on the exterior balcony to view the spectacular fireworks over Guanabara Bay.

The cost of the 5 night trip is £3,780 per person based on 2 people travelling but not including international flights (we can arrange these if required).
