The Sagu Mini Resort is nestled in the lush Atlantic Rainforest, with a view of the calm waters of the Bay of Abraão, 10 minutes away from the village, between Comprida and Brava Beaches. The design recalls the traditional style of a colonial Portuguese fishing village with an intimate plaza detailed with inlaid terracotta, and light yellow décor, typical of the island.
The Sagu Mini Resort on the island of Ilha Grande is nestled amongst the lush Atlantic Rainforest, overlooking the peaceful waters of the Bay of Abraão. Reminiscent of a colonial fishing village in style, the resort is surrounded by over 8 hectares of tropical forest and woodland.
The 9 air conditioned rooms are simple yet elegant and spacious, and are made up of two suites spread over different levels. Each has a private veranda with a hammock and views over the bay. The rooms are also equipped with ensuite bathrooms, a mini-bar, safe, a mosquito net, a telephone.
The resort’s water comes from natural springs and is heated by solar panels. Guests can enjoy the Ofuro – a Japanese style wooden barrel hot tub, while admiring the sounds, sights, and scents of the surrounding forest. The resort offers many additional activities such as massage, sailing, scuba diving, fishing excursions, snorkelling, guided hikes and botanical tours, kayaking.
