Brazil isn’t well known for its rafting but unsurprisingly for a country of its size it has some good fast waters throughout the country which can offer rafting expeditions lasting up to a number of days.
We can arrange rafting trips that last from a few hours to a few days.
One of our favourite spots in the country for rafting is Jalapao. In the heart of the state of Tocantins, the Rio Novo offers up the possibility of multi-day rafting adventures in beautiful scenery, camping on the river banks as you travel. Elsewhere the Juquitiba River near Sao Paulo has exciting rapids through lovely scenery and dense canyons. The Jacaru River in the northern state of Para offers remote rafting on rarely explored rivers with big water whereas the Jacare Pepira River near Brotas is a rollercoaster of waves and also offers the chance of good tubing.
Virtually all raft spots in Brazil also offer the chance to view wildlife and birdlife which is a strong pull of the country. We work closely with rafting specialists where your safety is paramount.
